Getting lash extensions is an investment — here’s how to protect it.
1. Wash them daily. This is the most important step. Use a gentle, oil-free lash cleanser and a soft brush. Clean lashes last longer and prevent infections. Dirty lashes = lashes that fall out faster.
2. No oil-based products. Oil breaks down the adhesive. Check your makeup remover, moisturizer, and sunscreen — they must be oil-free around the eyes.
3. Don’t rub or pull. Be gentle. If a lash twists, use a clean spoolie to brush it back into place.
4. Skip the mascara. Especially waterproof mascara — it’s almost impossible to remove without damaging the extensions.
5. Sleep on your back or use a silk pillowcase to avoid crushing them.
6. Come for refills every 2–3 weeks to keep them looking full.
Clean lashes are happy lashes. If you have questions about aftercare, ask me at your next appointment!
